Questions owners ask us

Can Juni book with a specific stylist?

Yes. Each stylist or barber can have their own services and hours in your workspace. When a client asks for someone by name, Juni offers that person's open times; if they don't mind who, Juni offers the first opening.

What if a client asks for something we don't do?

Juni only offers the services on your menu. If someone asks for a perm and you don't do perms, Juni says so and, if you want, suggests what you do offer. Tell Juni in a sentence in the app: "We don't do perms."

Can Juni take a deposit or card for no-shows?

Not today. Juni books the appointment and sends you the summary; payments stay with whatever you use at the front desk. If a deposit is required, Juni can tell the client your policy and let them know you'll follow up.

How does Juni handle walk-ins and "are you open right now"?

From your hours and the FAQ you give it. Juni tells callers whether you're open, whether you take walk-ins and roughly how long the wait is if you've told it, and offers to book a time instead.

What happens if a regular calls back?

Juni sees their past visits, upcoming appointment and your notes about them, greets them by name and uses that history naturally. If Maria is already booked for Saturday, Juni knows.

Can Juni answer in Spanish or another language?

Yes. Juni answers in 19 languages and switches when a caller does. You choose which languages your line uses during setup.

What happens when the trial ends?

The trial lasts 7 days or 15 minutes of answered calls, whichever comes first. We give you a heads-up at 10 minutes and on day 6. When it ends, Juni stops answering: callers hear "Sorry, we can't take your call right now" until you choose a plan. There is no card on file and nothing is charged automatically; you pay only when you pick a plan. If you decide not to continue, your number is held for 14 days and your workspace export is emailed to you.
