Questions owners ask us

Does Juni give legal advice?

No. Juni says so when asked, takes the intake details you specify and books a consultation. It only tells callers what you have put in its information: practice areas, fees, what to bring.

What intake questions does Juni ask?

The ones you set during setup: for example name, contact details, type of matter, the other party's name and a short description. The answers are in the call summary and on the caller's record in your workspace.

Is a recorded call a problem for confidentiality?

Juni tells callers they're speaking with an AI assistant, and calls are recorded and transcribed so you can review them. Read the privacy policy and apply your own professional-responsibility rules, including whether to tell callers not to share confidential details before the consultation.

Can Juni screen out matters we don't take?

Yes, from your list. If someone calls about a practice area you don't handle, Juni says so politely and can take a message if you'd like to refer them.

What about existing clients who call?

Juni recognizes returning callers from your workspace records, greets them by name and sees their upcoming appointments. You decide whether their calls are passed to you, booked or taken as messages.

Can Juni take payments or retainers?

Not today. Juni books and takes messages; billing stays with your practice. Juni can tell callers your consultation fee and how payment works if you give it that information.

What happens when the trial ends?

The trial lasts 7 days or 15 minutes of answered calls, whichever comes first. We give you a heads-up at 10 minutes and on day 6. When it ends, Juni stops answering: callers hear "Sorry, we can't take your call right now" until you choose a plan. There is no card on file and nothing is charged automatically; you pay only when you pick a plan. If you decide not to continue, your number is held for 14 days and your workspace export is emailed to you.
